Chance Encounter

Chance Encounter, photographed by Kailey Courtney, unfolds as a study in proximity, perception, and possibility. It explores when an accident becomes an intention, crossing the invisible threshold of what occurs when two people meet. Two figures, Mitchell Wray and Jae Smallwood, move independently, yet remain in a quiet orbit around one another.

Forward, Boundward, Reckoning. No beginning or end, only movement. A romance unfolds through a timeless lens. A glance in the right direction.

Through Kailey’s lens and the creative team behind the story, that romance takes shape, suspended between reality and projection, intimacy and distance.
